Our contractors which we regretfully hired to renovate our bathrooms, could not get the grout right (among MANY other complaints). Michael and Christian were super responsive, professional, punctual and knowledgeable. Qualities that seem to be missing with a lot of other companies/people we had to deal with in Dubai throughout this renovating adventure. What Is Grouting?

Grouting is filling the spaces between tiles with a special material called grout. It keeps tiles in place and prevents water from getting underneath. At Grout King, we provide professional grouting services to ensure your tiles are secure.

What is the Purpose of Grouting?

Grouting fills gaps between tiles, keeping dirt and moisture out. It also strengthens your tiles and increases their lifespan, keeping them secure from dirt and water seeping inside. Grout King ensures your tiles stay safe and protected with our expert grouting services for residential and commercial properties, apartments, and villas.

What is the Process of Grouting?

Grouting involves mixing grout, applying it between tiles, and wiping off excess. For existing tiled areas, old grout must be fully removed before installing new grout. If it’s not fully removed, it causes future issues as new grout won’t be applied evenly, with moisture and dirt trapped underneath it. Grout King makes sure the job is done right, leaving your tiles secure and looking great.

How long does grouting work take?

It depends on which type of grouting work you’re getting. Grout cleaning typically takes just 1 day. Grout repair or replacement takes anywhere from 1 to 3 days. Grout sealing takes an average of 2 days. Every job is different, so contact us to book a consultation and we’ll provide you with a bespoke quote for your needs.

What’s the difference between epoxy grout and cement grout?

At Grout King, we typically use epoxy grout, which is made from epoxy resins and a filler powder. In contrast, cement grout is made from cement. Epoxy grout is waterproof, stain-resistant, stronger and less likely to crumble than cement based grout, which is some of the many reasons why it’s our go-to grouting material.

Is Grouting Water Proof?

Grouting can be waterproof, but it depends on the type. Cementitious grout is not waterproof and may need sealing, while epoxy grout is 100% waterproof, making it perfect for wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens.
