What’s the most water-resistant type of tile?
Porcelain tiles are the most water-resistant type of tile, which makes them the perfect choice for a bathroom or kitchen. Porcelain tiles have a very low absorption rate, so they’re a great option for a room where there’s a lot of moisture or where splashes are more likely.
What’s more durable: porcelain or ceramic tile?
Both porcelain and ceramic tiles are extremely durable, hard-wearing options for your flooring. However, porcelain is slightly more dense and therefore less porous than ceramic tiles, meaning porcelain just has the edge when it comes to which is most durable. Either are a solid choice though, and will serve you well in the Dubai heat.
